Safety
The following guidelines have been established students use the blog safely and appropriately:
- I will be moderating all posts and everything, including visitor comments, goes through my email and cannot be published without my permission.
- The blog has a strong educational focus and is used to extend learning and teach students about internet safety in a moderated environment
- Students’ first names, photos, school name, videos and school work MAY be included on the blog
- Specific information such as surnames, email addresses, phone numbers and other personal information WILL NOT be included on the blog.
- All posts and comments are moderated and approved by Mrs Cohen before they are published on the blog
- Parents who visit the blog and leave comments are asked to only use first names e.g.’ Liam – Andrew’s dad’ instead of ‘Liam Jury, Andrew’s dad’.
- Parents are asked to proofread comments students write at home
- The blog will remain active for the duration of the school year or until directed to stop
